I am honored to be the 2024 Board Chair for the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce!

As the new Chair, this is a great opportunity to talk about change as there is a lot of it with the Chamber right now! With new leadership, often there is a hesitation or nervousness with change. Our path forward is outlined in our strategic plan – while Linnea and Karrie are new to the Chamber and bring fresh ideas for how we can accomplish those goals, we’ve been paving this runway together collectively as a board for the past few years. We’re lucky to have a committed Board of Directors. Our board is not shy and we do our best to ensure that all perspectives are taken into account when we make our decisions. It’s not about us, it’s about YOU, our members, and sometimes we get a little bit passionate about that! As business leaders in our community, you understand first-hand that change and evolution is inevitable – whether it’s with staff, technology, or economic forces – running a successful business often requires changing things up from time to time and sometimes pivoting quickly to do so. Rest assured we’re still YOUR LC Valley Chamber of Commerce and our mission statement remains the same “we are here to serve, lead, and be the voice of our members.
