Celebrate “A Century of Love” – A Disney-Inspired Weekend Honoring Lillian Disney, July 11–12, 2025, Downtown Lewiston, ID.

Lewiston, Idaho — The magic of Disney comes to life this summer with “A Century of Love,” a
heartwarming community event honoring the legacy of Lillian Disney, wife of the legendary Walt Disney,
in honor of their 100th wedding anniversary. Lillian (Bounds) Disney was born and raised in the Lapwai
and Lewiston, ID, community. She married Walt Disney in Lewiston in 1925. This two-day celebration
combines nostalgia, entertainment, and local charm to celebrate love, creativity, and the timeless spirit
of Disney.

The tentative schedule of events includes:
Friday, July 11th | “Dapper Days”
5 PM – 11 PM | Brackenbury Square & Pioneer Park
Dress to the ‘nines and kick off the weekend with a vintage flair.
● 5-7 PM – Special event food, drink and music festivities in Downtown Lewiston
● 7 PM – Best Dressed Dapper Days costume contest
● 7:30 PM – Sound Downtown including Disney cover songs
● Dusk - Outdoor Screening of Moana 2 at Pioneer Park, family-friendly & free!

Saturday, July 12th | “Century of Love: Disney Anniversary Celebration”
10 AM – 12 PM | Downtown & Library Area
Bring the whole family for a magical morning of music, performances, and Disney-themed fun:
● 10 AM – Disney Children’s Parade (from 5th to 8th Street)
● 10:30 AM – Mayor's Proclamation, Frozen performance, Disney Costume contest, cake!
● Family-Fun ac vi es, including face pain ng, scavenger hunts, giveaways, princess photos,
memorabilia, and more.

Raffle Prizes & Contests:
● Dapper Days: Best-Dressed Man & Woman
● Century of Love: Best Disney Character, Best Mickey/Minnie, Best Prince/Princess
